Being Thankful! COVID didn't get ya!

Hi there,

Thanksgiving is fast approaching and COVID does not seem to be letting up. So, what's a girl to do? Will a turkey be getting basted this year? Will the fancy flatware and expensive dishes be coming out to play come November 26th? Is there any point in celebrating thanksgiving in 2020 or should we just skip the whole shindig?

If these are some of the thoughts going through your mind, you are not alone friend. All these questions are valid and I get why you may be apprehensive. However, I want to encourage you to see COVID as a reason to celebrate. Yes, we are in the middle of a pandemic but in spite of it all, YOU ARE STILL HERE!!! Hold on to that hope and find joy in it. Yes, it might not be thanksgiving as usual but it can still be a memorable one.

I posted a video on my YouTube channel sharing a couple of tips to help you celebrate thanksgiving during COVID season. I hope it inspires and encourages you stay thankful!

Key Takeaway:

The act of thanksgiving is not impacted by the physical. The act of thanksgiving is a state of mind. CHOOSE TO BE THANKFUL!

Scripture of the day:

Psalm 52:9 - "For what you have done I will always praise you

in the presence of your faithful people.

And I will hope in your name,

for your name is good.

As always,

Blessings and Love
